LA Rush (HOW IT ALL BEGAN)
Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, in a musical family, where his great grandfather sang opera, his grandfather played the piano and guitar and his mother sang and played the guitar as well.
LA Rush indulged his passion for music from around 7 years, where we learned to play guitar.
One year later he started to learn to dance when his mom rent a vhs-tape with all of Michael Jackson´s musicvideos in front of the tv.
LA Rush (THE PRODUCER)
At age 13 he was more interested in getting to know what the dj was doing at a schoolparty then dance on the dancefloor. At the age of 14 he did his first shortmovie with friends and cousins and at the age of 16 his mother bought him a computer so he could start to produced his own music and after he heard songs from Antiloop, Richi M, Robert Miles to name a few, he knew what he wanted to do.
The words starting to spread that he did dance/trancemusic in his hometown and he then started to make his own cd´s and gave them to several djs.
“Me and a friend was taking a walk and just when we were passing a venue with a dj and a packed dancefloor, I suddenly said to my friend, I recognise this track, wait a minute! It’s my track, I tooked that as a sign that I should continue and I still love making music as much as when I started.”
He got in contact with one of his idols Richi M 8 years later and got his chance to produce a remix which was released and included on Richi M’s single and after that he got more and more requests from artists and recordlables, he ended up making over 200 official remixes up until 2025.
LA Rush (THE Dj)
In the beginning he only used computers and synths on stage when he played his music and after several years he started to play as a dj instead. He learned the basics to dj’ing in school but it wasn’t until Richi M gave him his djmixer so he could practise at home, that he learn it even better and a couple of years later he got his first dj gigs at O´learys in his homecity and since then he’s been playing his own music with Sannanda on live vocals in both Sweden, Finland and Iceland at different venues, nightcubs and festivals.
“Playing in front of a crowd that know the lyrics and our songs, mine and Sannanda’s, who is a fantastic singer, is so much fun and I can’t wait to show the world our new songs that are about to be released.”
LA Rush (THE RADIO HOST)
In 2017 he started to get requests from several radiostations asking that he would start his own radio/mixshow so that they could air it. “I remembered as a 8 year old boy, playing and imagine that I was a radiohost, so when I got the request the decision was easy and in August 2017 the first episode of “LA Rush In The Mix” aird”
LA Rush (THE LABLE OWNER)
In 2010 he decided to start his own lable “Rush Record Sweden” and release his own music and musicvideos. After been signed to a record lable in 2006 and just when his single were about to be released, the lable went bankrupt as many lables at this time, he thought that perhaps it would be better to release his own music so he would have the control 100%.
“Since the climate in the musicbuisness has changed so much in the last 10 years, I felt that it was time to try to release my music through bigger lables and now I have gotten the oportunity through several connections that I have recieved through the last years, so from mid 2024 I had focused on letting other lables release my music, with “Push It” being the first.”

SANNANDA (HOW IT ALL BEGAN)
SANNANDA, means “True Spirit” in Swedish. All of her work made before 2008 is found under her real name Sandra Oldenstam or Sandra O. Her spiritual overtone throughout her lyrics is one of her strongest trademarks. She aims at writing music that touches the soul and inspires. Her distinguished voice has been compared to artists like Damae, vocalist of Fragma, and such powerful singers as Whitney Huston and Toni Braxton. She has recorded a wide range of material such as highpowered vocals in dance and discomusic, deathmetal and rock, but also soft melodic vocals in melodic trancemusic, musicals and meditationmusic.
She was born in Stockholm and grew up in a musicial family, her grandmother sang opera and played the piano; her father played electrical guitar, electrical bass, piano and clarinet; her brother plays electrical bass and drums. In the early 1960’s her father started a band in Stockholm, where he also was born. With music around her all the time, she started singing and did her very first spontaneous performance at the age of two on her parents livingroom table during a gettogether of friends and family.
“I very well recall that absolutely wonderful feeling of standing there on the table, which felt like a huge stage, singing into my brothers little blue plastic toyhelicopter as a pretend microphone. I knew right then that my calling was to entertain with my singing. From then on my father use to always request me to join him by the piano or the guitar whenever he was entertaining guests at various event. As I got older I also got to preform with various jazzbands that my fathers friends worked with.”
In 1980 her parents bought and began renovating the already well renound artist hotel “Hotel Excelsior” in Gothenburg, where most of the Swedish celebrities use to stay when visiting Gothenburg to preform or run shows during longer periods of time. Some more internationally known artist were for example the Swedish rockband Europe and the popduo Roxette.
The hotel opened up already far back in 1938 and famous actors such as Greta Garbo and Ingrid Bergman where known for residing there upon their stay in Gothenburg.
“I must admit that I had a most extraordinary childhood growing up around so many exciting personalities/celebrities. There where many times me and my siblings got the chance to come along to fabulous shows and events. Being able to witness so much behind the scenes also made me well aware at a young age about how life in the public eye has certain drawbacks along with all of the fantastic experiences.”
In 1988 her father started a smaller club/bar called “Excet” in the basement of the hotel and in 1991, when her parents sold it, the new owners took it further and now, thirtyfour years later, the club that her father started is one of the biggest and most succesfull nightclubs in all of Gothenburg.
At the age of ten she started participating in several choirs and in musicals/operas and also spent five years in music class. As a twelve year old she got the amazing opportunity to be a part of the ensemble of “La Bohème” at the National Theatre in Gothenburg.
When she was sixteen, her family moved to Florida, Tampa, (US) and she began to sing with various Top 40 dancebands six nights a week while during weekdays also attending college and later on the university in the daytime.
“It was a hektic time those nine years to be a fulltime student and also perform almost every night of the week. However, knowing each day how soon I was going to get to switch into my stagecloths and step up on that stage and do what I love best after completing studies and projects, rather gave me all the strength and ability that I needed in order to cope through those years. It was all that I had ever dreamt of and more and still today I hold onto those wonderfull memories and appreciate all the great experience that I gained.”
“It all began one evening when me and a couple of my friends were set on going out to sing karaoke. However, when we arrived at the club, there was a band playing. Without our knowledge they had changed the entertainment for the evening. Some of my friends got disappointed, but I only saw the chance to perhaps get to perform with a live band. I asked the band if I could join them for a song, but first they wanted to hear a few lines from the song I was going to sing to see if I was good enough. I ended up getting a standing ovation after the performance and had the luck to be asked by the band to work with them permanently. From then on I had singing jobs for the next nine years straight with them and other various bands all around Florida and I loved every minute of it.”
SANNANDA (PRO-SINGER)
Years later she got contacted by the famous Swedish eurodance group Basic Element who wanted her to travel back to Sweden to become their new official singer, but just shortly after that their former female vocalist of the band came back around and asked to be a part of the group once again. It was decided that it would be a smart move for the band to stay as the group they were prior even though they loved Sannandas voice.
Later on they decided despite this change to release at least one song they had recorded together, “Rage”, which was released as an albumtrack on the album “The Truth”, 2008.
In 2001 she got contacted by a former highschool friend who were a member of the group Dynamic, later called Outfly, also from Gothenburg, Sweden. They started to collaborate and she wrote the lyrics and made the vocals for “La Marche de la Lune”, which got released by Warner Music in Canada in 2003 and Robbin’s Ent./BMG, U.S.A in 2004. It was released as a single and was also included on the album “Chakrila” where she performs the track “Naked” as well. “La Marche De La Lune” became #1 on iTunes, #4 on Billboard in U.S.A, Top 30 in Canada and it was also Grammy nominated for BEST DANCE 2003 in Canada.
After this release she decided to moved permantly back to Sweden.
A year later she got to record six tracks with dance re-makes for the “ABSOLUTE HITMANIA” compilation (“ABSOLUTE HITMANIA“, “ABSOLUTE CHRISTMAS HITMANIA” and “ABSOLUTE SCHLAGER HITMANIA“) in Sweden, released by EVA Records (EMI), between 2004-2005.
During that same time she also co-wrote the track “A Little Too Much” on the album Fame Factory #6 for the Swedish television show with the same name, Fame Factory, which was started by Bert Karlsson, one of the first and most famous artistmanager in Swedish pophistory and former owner and founder of Marianne Records.
Sannanda has also recorded many demos for Eurovision throughout the years.
One of them were “You Really Got Me Going”, which was a contribution for the Polish Erovision contest 2007. Due to this she got chosen by the jury of TVP (TV Poland) to recieve the nomination as “Best Upcoming Artist” and also became chosen as the backup number to the Eurovision Song Contest.
In 2010 LA Rush and Sannanda produced the music and Sannanda sings a soft melodic part on the meditation cd, released by Hasse Nyander, a famous Swedish psycic medium.
The same year she released the ambient sounding single “Forever Waiting” which she co-produced together with LA Rush.
SANNANDA (ALBUM)
Sannanda released her own pop/rock album “Believe In Something More“, 2011, which includes her single “Have A Little Faith“. The musicvideo was shot on the Canary Island.
SANNANDA (CONTINUES WORK)
Since the collaboration started with LA Rush she has sung backgroundvocals on many of his remixes. In recent years she has released singles with Magic Motion, Dreamell, Kayu, Kusini and has been singing as a background singer on stage in front of thousands of people, together with famous Swedish artists like Annika Ljungberg (Rednex), Lili & Susie, Miio and Dede Lopez.
